Welcome Message from the Principal

Every morning starts with the smiles of the staff and the children's morning greeting,"Ohayo gozaimasu". Morning Greetings are a great way to deepen relationships and build a sense of community.

We believe that the interaction is very important to nurture children’s dreams and to help children to be strong and healthy.

The will of the Honorary Director, who was fired with ideals at the time of the opening of the school, has fostered a relaxed school culture since its establishment.
Therefore, rather than forcing children to learn numbers and Kanji characters, we believe it is important to expand their circle of friends in a free environment and nurture the foundation of their humanity.

Laughing, playing, and thinking.
Our children who have experienced various things at Nozomi Kindergarten grow up spontaneously. They will grow up freely and shape their future.

Principal, Yoshiko Nakano

Educational Policy

Our basic policy is to establish a firm foundation of humanity to live a rich life in a human society, and we will provide thoughtful childcare and guidance. We believe taht it is important to expand their circle of friends in a free environment and nurture the foundation of their humanity.

History

The current building, located in Tsumada-higashi, Atsugi-shi, was built with a spacious multi-purpose hall at its cente, and open-plan classrooms are connected. It is our great pleasure that many children, both parents and children, have attended our school for two or three generations since its establishment in 1975.

The old kindergarten building was characterized by classrooms lined up on both sides of a spacious 5-meter-wide corridor and a slanted roof, and was brightly lit through large upper windows. The new building was reconstructed in 2015, while inheriting the concept of the old building, with the restrooms open to the corridor instead of hidden away.
